Here at Axe Whooping the safety of our customers is our top priority. We have been closely monitoring the progress of COVID-19 here in Denver and we have been talking with experts as to what are the appropriate next steps to take should be.
After consulting with these experts, we have come to the conclusion that it would be in the public's best interest to close down till further notice. In the meantime, we will be disinfecting all axes, targets, restrooms and Rage Room equipment in preparation for re-opening our doors.
Once we're fully up and running, we will continue to provide anti-bacterial soap and hand sanitizer for all patrons to use during their time at Axe Whooping.
If you have made a deposit and would like to reschedule your event to a later date, you can do so free of charge. We thank you for your support and patronage of our business, and we will continue to monitor this situation.
It's Time To Wreck Stuff
Welcome to our Rage Room. To enter you must be suited up for battle. Armor includes coveralls, welding gloves, mask, and helmet. Your tools of destruction will be supplied to you by Axe Whooping. Once prepared, you will enter the Rage Room to break your chosen items.
Let’s face it – real life is stressful. Whether you work a demanding job, pay attention to politics, or simply field too many calls from your overbearing mother in law, odds are good that you have at least one reason to need to blow off some serious steam. The Rage Room was created for a single purpose: to give you a safe space to smash stuff. We guarantee that you’ll feel better afterwards.
Anger Management In A Perfect Way
Science has proven that long-term stress is bad for you. From fatigue and irritability to depression and heart disease, we now know that the effects of stress extend much further than previously imagined. And yet, the vast majority of Americans still live with at least a measure of chronic stress. In fact, it is so commonplace, that many people fail to realize that it is negatively affecting their health until they experience some sort of serious physical or psychological event.
Unfortunately, to combat their stressful lifestyle many individuals turn to self-destructive habits that ultimately make matters far worse. This is merely the illusion of stress relief, and it generally causes collateral damage. There’s a better way.
Studies have shown that one of the best and most positive methods to decrease stress is to regularly engage in an enjoyable activity. Some people love running or meditation. Others complete puzzles or play board games. While breaking dishes or TVs in a smash room is decidedly less serene, there are few activities that cut right to the chase and literally allow you to destroy your anxiety – one china plate at a time.
The concept of a rage or smash room actually started in Japan just a few years ago, but it has rapidly gained traction around the world, and especially in the United States. It is easy to see why. After all, who hasn’t had the desire to break something after a particularly crazy day? In these rooms, throwing an adult-sized tantrum is entirely acceptable. In fact, it’s encouraged.
